Barclays analyst Ross Sandler raised the firm’s price target on Meta Platforms (META) to $830 from $800 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares post the Q1 report. The firm says Meta is growing twice as fast as the digital advertising industry while “slimming down the company, an incredible feat.” The company’s AI progress coming off the Muse Spark introduction brings confidence that its “massive” investments will pay off down the line, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
