Stifel lowered the firm’s price target on Meta Platforms (META) to $875 from $900 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Meta reported solid Q3 results with slightly better than expected Q4 revenue guidance at the mid-point, the analyst tells investors. While commentary like Meta’s that it expects “notably larger” capex dollar growth in 2026 and “significantly faster” expense growth has “become standard issue for the hyperscalers,” the firm believes investors are likely to shift back toward more heavily scrutinizing these investments, the analyst added.
