Meta’s chief artificial intelligence scientist Yann LeCun has confirmed last week’s FT report that he is leaving the company at the end of 2025 to launch his own firm, Bloomberg’s Kurt Wagner and Riley Griffin report, citing a company memo. Meta Platforms (META) will partner with LeCun on his startup, though details are still being finalized, the report states.
