Microsoft (MSFT) and Meta (META) have committed almost $50B in additional data center leases over the past few quarters, pushing the overall commitments to future data center leases to above $700B among cloud computing companies, Brody Ford of Bloomberg reports. In total, Microsoft carries $155B in future lease commitments while Meta carries $104B.
