Meta gives $65M to super PACs to elect California candidates, Politico reports

Meta has given $65M to two super PACs to elect California state candidates, regardless of party, whom it views as supportive of the AI and tech industry, Politico’s Christine Mui reports. Meta contributed $45M to its ATEP PAC in late September, according to IRS forms obtained by Politico. A Meta spokesperson said it’s possible the company will inject more money into the two PACs as the year progresses, but that has yet to be determined.
