Meta is developing an AI version of Mark Zuckerberg that can interact with employees in his stead as part of a bigger effort to remake the company around AI, the Financial Times’ Hannah Murphy reports, citing four people familiar with the matter. The company has been building photorealistic, AI-powered characters that users can engage with in real time and recently started prioritizing a Zuckerberg character. The move, which is at an early stage, is separate form the project to construct a ‘CEO agent’ to support Zuckerberg in his role.
