Medtimo announced that it has filed a patent infringement complaint in the U.S. District Court of the District of Delaware against Allurion Technologies (ALUR). The complaint alleges that Allurion’s gastric balloon system infringes upon three key Medtimo patents. The company stated this action follows Allurion’s recent unsuccessful challenge of Medtimo’s patent rights in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
