Medline (MDLN) announced that certain selling stockholders affiliated with Blackstone (BX), The Carlyle Group (CG), Hellman & Friedman and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, have commenced an underwritten public offering of 75M shares of Medline’s Class A common stock pursuant to a registration statement filed with the SEC. Medline is not selling any shares of Class A common stock in the offering and will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale. Goldman Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan are acting as global coordinators and joint bookrunning managers, and Blackstone Capital Markets and Carlyle are acting as co-managers for the proposed offering.
