McDonald’s (MCD) will be lowering the cost of its combo meals after weeks of discussions with its restaurant operations, Heather Haddon of The Wall Street Journal reports, citing people involved in the discussions. McDonald’s and its U.S. franchisees agreed to maintain the price of eight popular meal deals 15% below the total prices of the individual item, with plans to run combo meal specials later this year.
