Roth Capital analyst Eric Handler raised the firm’s price target on Mattel (MAT) to $22 from $17 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Tariff issues appear less volatile than three months ago, but the visibility into the retail market remains clouded, and it is uncertain if the management will be able to reinstate guidance, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Valuation on Mattel is still inexpensive at a little more than 12-times the firm’s expected 2025 EPS, but with net sales likely to stay at roughly $5.4B for a fourth consecutive year, multiple expansion could prove challenging, the firm added.
