Jefferies analyst Trevor Williams raised the firm’s price target on MasterCard (MA) to $655 from $630 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. With improved quarter-to-date trends and U.S.-inbound travel talked down as a concern the firm sees “little debate/controversy” for Visa (V) and MasterCard, but also sees this as reflected in year-to-date outperformance and valuation, which “makes the near-term path higher less clear,” the analyst tells investors.
