Marsh McLennan Agency acquires Excel Insurance, terms not disclosed

Marsh McLennan (MMC) Agency, a business of Marsh McLennan, announced the acquisition of Excel Insurance, a Medley, Florida-based independent agency. Excel Insurance provides property and casualty insurance solutions to small businesses and individuals in South Florida, with specialties in watercraft and motor vehicle protection. All Excel employees, including president Jacob Pared, will join Marsh McLennan Agency in its existing Doral office. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
