Major air carriers have challenged a U.S. appeals court ruling that the Transportation Department has the authority to write airline fee disclosure rules, David Shepardson of Reuters reports. American Airlines (AAL), United Airlines (UAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL), JetBlue (JBLU), Alaska Airlines, Airlines for America, and the International Air Transport Association, asked the full appeals court to reconsider the ruling.
