CIBC analyst Krista Friesen lowered the firm’s price target on Magna (MGA) to $44 from $48 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Top-line guidance for 2025 and 2026 was “disappointing” and below the firm’s and consensus expectations, notes the analyst, who does not believe Magna will be able to reach even the low end of its “somewhat surprising” margin guidance for 2026 given the significant headwinds facing the industry and heightened level of uncertainties.
