Truist analyst William Stein raised the firm’s price target on Macom (MTSI) to $154 from $136 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm’s checks in the RF components category have remained more positive than checks related to other products, supporting ongoing strength for the stock, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The company also seems curiously optimistic about its new optical amplifier products used in free-space conditions, forming data links among satellites and satellite to ground links, Truist added.
