M-Tron Industries awarded significant production contract

M-tron Industries (MPTI)announced it has been awarded a significant production contract from a top U.S. Department of Defense prime contractor in support of a brand new, novel multi-domain data link. The system effectively joins several communication data links together to dramatically shorten the data-to-decision timeline, enabling clearer, faster intelligence sharing and enhancing the operational picture for the joint warfighter. The contract includes several high-performance radio frequency components, including rugged lumped element filters, engineered for durability and precision in mission-critical environments. This latest award builds on Mtron’s long-standing support of defense programs, and this new program for next-level connectivity is forecasted to be in production for at least a decade. Work under this contract will be performed at Mtron’s manufacturing facility in Orlando, Florida, through 2026. The program is expected to continue production at least through 2036.
