Luna Innovations announced that Scott Graeff has retired from his role as president and CEO of the company and has stepped down from the board of directors, leaving the company after 21 years, including the last seven as president and CEO. The board has initiated a search for a new president and CEO with the support of an international search firm. To oversee the company’s operations while the search is ongoing, Richard Roedel, who has served as chairman of the board since 2010, has been appointed executive chairman and president on an interim basis. As interim executive chairman and interim president, Roedel will work closely with the company’s leadership team.
