Lowe’s (LOW) is cutting about 600 corporate and support roles, the company said Friday, making it the second major big-box retailer to announce layoffs this week, The Wall Street Journal’s Allison Pohle reports. The cuts represent less than 1% of the company’s total workforce, and a Lowe’s spokeswoman said it will provide support including career transition resources.
