Live Nation’s (LYV) Ticketmaster is being probed by the U.S Federal Trade Commission, FTC, regarding its efforts to prevent bots from illegally reselling tickets on its platform, Josh Sisco of Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The investigation, which is at advanced stages, focuses on the company’s compliance with a law that is meant to prevent automated ticket resales. A decision on whether to bring a case against the company could be made within weeks, some sources said.
