Large plume of smoke seen after blast at PBF’s Chalmette Refining, Fox 8 says

A large plume of smoke was seen after residents in a Chalmette community heard a loud explosion, Fox 8’s Jesse Brooks reports. The incident at PBF Energy’s (PBF) Chalmette Refining initially prompted traffic closures, the authors notes. Still, all lanes near the refinery have reopened with law enforcement conducting traffic control, according to St. Bernard Parish spokesperson Kim Gritter.
