Morgan Stanley upgraded Lanxess to Overweight from Underweight with a price target of EUR 37, up from EUR 23. The prospect of asset sales should help to “de-gear” the company’s balance sheet while question marks on the quality of the core business should be allied by lower energy costs, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
