The firm upped targets in the semiconductor capital equipment space as part of a Q1 preview. Wafer fab equipment industry views for 2026 have surged from $115B to $140B-plus with demand nearer $150B if not for clean room constraints as capacity adds broaden from foundry to DRAM and into NAND, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Riley says AI compute is the driver.
