Krispy Kreme (DNUT), announced that it has reached an agreement for Unison Capital to purchase its operations in Japan. Cash proceeds from this transaction are estimated to be approximately $65M dependent on the fiscal year 2025 financial results for Japan. Proceeds are expected to be used for debt pay down after transaction-related fees and expenses. The transaction is projected to close in the first quarter of 2026. The brand has grown to 89 locations and nearly 300 fresh delivery points of access across Tokyo, Osaka, and other major cities nationwide.
