KKR (KKR) is exploring an acquisition of TXNM Energy (TXNM) and has held takeover talks in recent weeks, according to Bloomberg’s David Carnevali, Dinesh Nair, and Ryan Gould. TXNM, the owner of New Mexico’s largest utility, has been working with an adviser to weigh a sale after receiving takeover interest, the authors note. Shares of TXNM are up 1.3% in afternoon trading.
