Compass Point raised the firm’s price target on Kinsale Capital (KNSL) to $490 from $432 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The firm, which notes that it has described Kinsale as “the gold standard in specialty E&S insurance,” adds that the company’s Q2 report showed evidence of growth emanating from non-property underwriting and high-value homeowners lines that appears to be maintaining a strong overall growth rate despite the decline in commercial property.
