Truist analyst Mark Hughes lowered the firm’s price target on Kinsale Capital (KNSL) to $450 from $510 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The 2026 EPS estimate is reduced to $20.70 from $21.25 due to slower gross written premium growth and a modestly higher loss ratio driven by casualty mix, with a new 2027 EPS forecast of $22.50, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm still believes Kinsale can outperform longer term even in a more competitive P&C environment.
