Kering (PPRUY) is in discussions to sell its beauty business to L’Oreal (LRLCY) in a deal valued at about $4B, Ben Dummett, Lauren Thomas, and Nick Kostov of The Wall Street Journal reports, citing people familiar with the matter. As long as another bidder doesn’t emerge and discussions don’t break down, the deal could be announced as soon as next week.
