The Department of Justice’s investigation into crypto betting platform Polymarket has been dropped, Lydia Beyoud and Sridhar Natarajan of Bloomberg report, citing a person with direct knowledge of the matter. Polymarket received formal notice earlier this month from the Justice Department and Commodity Futures Trading Commission that their probes had ended, sources told Bloomberg. Publicly traded companies in the crypto space include Bit Digital (BTBT), Bitfarms (BITF), Coinbase (COIN), Core Scientific (CORZ), Greenidge Generation (GREE), Mara Holdings (MARA), Riot Platforms (RIOT), Strategy (MSTR), Stronghold Digital Mining (SDIG) and TeraWulf (WULF).
