U.S. District Judge John Chun ruled Amazon violated consumer protection law by collecting Prime subscribers’ billing information prior to disclosing its terms of service, Jody Godoy of Reuters reports. The case accuses Amazon of deceptive practices to generate Prime subscriptions.
