Judge Christopher Barry-Smith in Massachusetts issued a ruling that allows the Commonwealth to block prediction market Kalshi from offering sports-event contracts within the state, Bookies.com’s Bill Speros reports. The determination comes in the wake of a hearing last month and Kalshi’s unsuccessful attempt to remand the case to a federal court, the author notes.
