JPMorgan expects Fed to leave funds rate unchanged next week

In advance of next week’s FOMC meeting, JPMorgan Chief U.S. Economist Michael Feroli said the firm expects that the Fed will leave the target range for the fed funds rate unchanged at 4.25%-4.5% and sees attention turning to the post-meeting statement and to “the number of dovish dissents” it expects with no new dot plot at this meeting.
