JPMorgan (JPM) Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said that while he does not understand the appeal of stablecoins, he can’t afford to stay on the sidelines, Hugh Son of CNBC reports. “We’re going to be involved in both JPMorgan deposit coin and stablecoins to understand it, to be good at it,” Dimon said during an earnings conference call, according to CNBC. “I think they’re real, but I don’t know why you’d want to stablecoin as opposed to just payment.”
