The joint owners of Virgin Media O2, Telefonica (VIV) and Liberty Global (LBTYA), intend to lead a EUR 2B acquisition of Netomnia, U.K.’s fourth-largest broadband network, Kieran Smith of The Financial Times reports, citing people familiar with the matter. Virgin Media O2 owners will be joining forces with InfraVia Capital to purchase the company via their joint venture Nexfibre, two sources told the Times.
