JetBlue, United Airlines partnership ‘positive’ for both airlines, says UBS

The partnership agreement between JetBlue (JBLU) and United Airlines (UAL) is likely a positive for both airlines given the complimentary nature of their respective footprints, UBS tells investors in a research note. The firm sees less likelihood of pushback on the partnership from regulators given the lack of code sharing arrangements as well as absence of capacity planning and revenue sharing.
