A company led by Amazon (AMZN) CEO Jeff Bezos and former Google (GOOGL) executive Vikram Bajaj, has poached xAI co-founder Kyle Kosic from OpenAI, the Financial Times’ Cristina Criddle and George Hammond report, citing people familiar with the matter. Project Prometheus, a code name for the new start-up, is rapidly recruiting to pursue its plans to create AI systems that can transform the industrial sector.
