Benchmark analyst Todd Brooks lowered the firm’s price target on J & J Snack Foods to $150 from $165 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after the company delivered weaker operating results than the firm’s “Street-low estimates” as softer than expected revenues were compounded by pressure on the gross margin line. The firm’s lower target reflects the potential continuation of developing consumer headwinds, which are likely to mute revenue growth in the seasonally strong second half of the year, the analyst noted.
