Benchmark lowered the firm’s price target on J.B. Hunt (JBHT) to $165 from $175 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares following the company’s first quarter earnings report. While the firm continues to think J.B. Hunt’s strong service levels, as well as its ability to scale into past investments when the freight market recovers, can support continued EPS growth over the long term, it adds that “investor patience may continue to run thin” as Intermodal price increases remain sluggish and mid-cycle earnings continues to get pushed out.
