While the Iranian delegation is not expected to speak with U.S. representatives, the Pakistanis anticipate the meeting will lead to a second round of talks between the U.S. and Iran, CNN reported. President Trump is sending his special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan to participate in talks this weekend, two administration officials tell CNN.
