Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has presented regional mediators with a new offer proposing that Iran would stop its attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for a full end to the war, including the U.S. lifting its naval blockade of Iranian ports, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing officials familiar with the matter. The report also indicates that nuclear negotiations would be postponed. WSJ further indicates that President Trump and his national security team remain skeptical that Iran’s offer of a deal would see the Strait of Hormuz open.
