RBC Capital lowered the firm’s price target on International Paper (IP) to $54 from $55 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm remains encouraged by recent supply rationalization in containerboard that it expects to see in a tighter market in 2026/2027, resulting in a supportive environment for taking price and margin expansion, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
