Wells Fargo keeps an Equal Weight rating and $25 price target on Intel (INTC) after its Intel Vision 2025 address. The product update and keynote were “largely as expected”, though the indication that its 18A process being in “Risk Production” phase – that is, completion of initial customer validation with scaling coming next – is as a positive incremental data point, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Investors could become increasingly focused on Intel’s opportunity to build both semi-custom and custom solutions in the x86 ecosystem, the firm adds.
