Intel (INTC) is slated to start supplying some Mac and iPad chips in a few years, and a rumor says the partnership might also include the iPhone, MacRumors’ Joe Rossignol reports. In a note with GF Securities obtained by MacRumors, analyst Jeff Pu said he and his peers “now expect” the chipmaker to strike a supply pact with Apple (AAPL) for at least some non-pro iPhone semiconductors beginning in 2028. The non-pro iPhone chips would be made with Intel’s future 14A process, Pu said, according to MacRumors.
