Intel (INTC) is in early-stage talks to add AMD (AMD) as a foundry customer, according to Semafor’s Rohan Goswami, citing people familiar with the matter. The sourced noted that it is “unclear how much of their manufacturing would shift to Intel if the two companies reach a deal, or whether it would come with a direct investment by AMD,” adding that it is possible that no agreement will be reached. Intel and AMD both declined to comment on the report.
