Intel (INTC) has considered divesting its network and edge businesses as the company looks to cut parts of the company its new CEO does not see as crucial, Max Cherney, Milana Vinn and Jeffrey Dastin of Reuters reports, citing three sources familiar with the matter. Talks about the potential sale of the group are part of CEO Lip-Bu Tan’s strategy to focus its employees on PC and data center chips, areas which have historically thrived.
