Intel’s (INTC) CEO is exploring a change to its contract manufacturing business to win customers, Max Cherney, Jeffrey Dastin and Stephen Nellis of Reuters reports, citing two people familiar with the matter. If implemented, the new strategy for what the company calls its “foundry” business would entail no longer marketing certain chipmaking technology to external customers, people said.
