KeyBanc reports that CMS acknowledged in today’s MLN Connects Newsletter the recent confusion around hypoglossal nerve stimulations reimbursement and announced the addition of six new HCPCS codes for the April Integrated Outpatient Code Editor, effective January 1, 2026. While “still early,” the firm is viewing this development as “directionally positive,” given it could expedite the pathway for gaining clarity into permanent and product-specific payment approaches, says the analyst. Specifically, CMS added three codes describing Inspire Medical (INSP) V procedures, as well as three describing Nyxoah (NYXH) procedures, adds the analyst. Inspire Medical shares have jumped $19.59, or 33%, to $78.84 in afternoon trading.
