BWS Financial analyst Hamed Khorsand raised the firm’s price target on Immersion (IMMR) to $13.50 from $11 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company’s Q2 report included partial results from Barnes & Noble Education (BNED), which Immersion owns 42% percent of, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm believes the decision to carry the Barnes & Noble Education position at investment value “might have distorted the true value of IMMR.” BWS expects Immersion to report an unrealized gain in the quarter from Barnes & Noble Education’s stock appreciation.
