The Trump administration’s sweeping deportations of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally have made many Latinos fearful and many are retreating from public life, forgoing their regular shopping trips and restaurant meals, Laura Cooper, Arian Campo-Flores, and Enrique Perez de la Rosa of The Wall Street Journal reports. Across America, especially in Southern states with large Hispanic populations, consumer goods companies, restaurants, retailers, and more are taking a hit. Some companies impacted by this pullback in spending include Coca-Cola (KO), Colgate-Palmolive (CL), Constellation Brands (STZ), Boston Beer (SAM), and JD Sports (JDSPY).
