IBM (IBM) announced that 11 of its AI and automation software solutions – including several products from the watsonx portfolio – have received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, or FedRAMP, authorization. These authorizations were made possible through IBM’s strategic collaboration agreement, or SCA, with Amazon (AMZN) Web Services, or AWS, which includes investment to speed the delivery of AI and automation solutions for federal agencies. The 11 solutions are deployed exclusively on AWS GovCloud, giving agencies secure access to these capabilities without having to manage the underlying infrastructure, and while meeting government compliance requirements. IBM’s 11 FedRAMP authorized software solutions are part of the company’s AI and Automation Services for Government portfolio and include: watsonx.ai; watsonx.governance; watsonx.data; watsonx.data integration; watsonx.data intelligence; watsonx Orchestrate
