IBM (IBM) is nearing a deal to buy Confluent (CFLT) for around $11B, and a deal could be announced as soon as Monday, The Wall Street Journal’s Lauren Thomas reports, citing people familiar with the matter. Confluent had a market value of around $8B as of Friday, while IBM’s was around $290B.
